About Operation Department

Operation departmenttakes care of the inbound of all the vehicles that are imported from HQ and other factories in Europe; and also the distribution of those vehicles to different countries in CEE.Logistics department is responsible for exploring the most suitable solutions for all logistics issues in the automotive division. The logistics role is key to the success of the fulfilment to customers and orders.

Logistics Specialist key responsibility areas will be:

  • Effective communication with all company departments in Europe logistics colleagues from BYD China HQ and external communication with LSP (Logistics Service Providers) and dealers;
  • Operations within the different systems to be used that is used as the whole process control for the movement of the cargo or for the purpose of finance control for example CRM ERP or SAP system;
  • Organize and provide real time information for the POs and deliveries;
  • Continuous improvement of the whole logistics flow;
  • Control the logistics cost and provide the most efficient logistics solution.

As a Logistics Specialist you will:

  • Daily communication with other colleagues and with LSPs (Logistics service providers);
  • Arranging transport (trucking shipping or both) by selecting the most suitable suppliers and ways;
  • Daily contact with local logistics service partners to follow up on the realtime status of the shipments/transportations;
  • Keeping track of all the shipments and prepare all necessary documents and payments;
  • Arranging commercial documents (invoices etc.) to be delivered to and handled by the related parties;
  • Daily data maintenance and updatewith systems & without systems (e.g. excels);
  • Participating and assisting in setting up BYD logistics supplier list;
  • Involved in monthly review meeting with logistics suppliers;
  • Dealing with the related paperwork for the internal and external purpose;
  • Monitoring potential problems and bottlenecks and exploring ways to improve working flow;
  • Printing the COC documents
  • Providing support to all the procedures when it is needed.

  • We hope you have:
    • Preferably up to 3 years of related working experience or graduate of related study field;
    • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain data analysis or business management.
    • Proficient Excel user skills;
    • Excellent English language skills ChineseHungarianGerman or any other European language will be considered as an advantage;
    • Stressresilient with the problem solving mindset;
    • Team player with attention to detail.
