ValueWorks was founded in 2020 as the first software solution with a real focus on executives as users and offers the intelligent operating system for founders & executive managers. The founders are long-time experts in enterprise software (especially SAP) and top management consulting (Bain & Company, McKinsey) and have mapped their experience into a unique software solution. In the pre-seed funding round, ValueWorks has raised over 700,000 euros and is on its way to the seed round. ValueWorks provides a cloud-based, integrated and intelligent enterprise software that supports the entire management process from planning to reporting to execution (using OKR).
Tasks
We are looking for a dedicated person to join us as a Senior Sales Executive. You will be responsible for driving Sales in our company and you will become an important part of a high-performance team.
- You own and manage the entire sales process from top to bottom and establish a data-driven sales strategy
- You work closely with the leadership team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategies with overall company objectives
- You are responsible for actively growing existing client relationships, accelerating active sales opportunities, and driving them to a close
- You train junior team members and continue to grow and mentor existing team members
- You continuously optimize our sales process and tactics: - Creating sales scripts- Creating email templates and reusable demo agendas- perfecting the stages of the sales process- understanding which features speak to which prospects- writing the product roadmap etc.
- You set and achieve revenue targets according to company goals, sales conversion metrics & monthly, quarterly or annual sales goals
- You continuously review our sales pipelines, pointing out obstacles and identifying promising sales opportunities
- You work closely with our Marketing team on generating leads and on developing and optimizing messaging to increase sales team effectiveness
- You keep track of how ValueWorks can upsell and cross-sell existing customers, which industries or verticals to target next and how to spend our company s budget effectively
- You will be responsible for working with the recruiting team and growing the team based on our company s needs to build up a sales team (in particular Sales Development Representatives)
Requirements
If you are the right person for the opportunity, you will be able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company.
- You have a deep understanding of what makes a successful teammate at all levels of careers and how that plays into the overall sales function
- You already have extensive experience in dealing with customers, preferably in the B2B sector
- You have an agile mindset and feel comfortable in a fast-growing and challenging start-up environment
- Ideally, you already have an existing partner and customer network in the field of trade and services
- You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to take risks and assume responsibility. The ideal candidate is a future founder
- You have a BA in Business or any related field, Master s degree is a plus
- You have at least 4-5 years of experience working in sales and a strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role
- You have successfully managed a sales-team before
- You have a strategic, structured and analytical mindset and you are able to use data to make and drive decisions and to provide solutions to prospective clients
- You have excellent communication skills within the team as well as externally
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills characterize you perfectly
- You have strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Full proficiency in German and English
