The Cloud Architect (CAR) brings expertise as an architect and designer and is an evangelist for Cloud services and architectures.

Overview:
The Cloud Architect (CAR) brings expertise as an architect and designer and is an evangelist for Cloud services and architectures. The CAR has expert knowledge in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) offerings from the major Cloud Service Providers. He or she designs secure architecture solutions that decouple legacy corporate capabilities into elastic, scalable container based services. The role could involve working with outside vendors to implement a solution. The CAR will communicate and collaborate continuously with customer to freely design best of breed architectures using public, private and hybrid cloud solutions.

State of NH Overview:
Over the past two years the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has quickly developed a system to successfully register, schedule and administer vaccines to over 500,000 people in our state. Additionally, DHHS has stood up a comprehensive Immunization Information System (IIS) that has managed the accountability for more than 2 million doses of vaccine. DHHS is looking to improve and enhance the interoperability of COVID-19 vaccination data systems.
Utilizing CAI technical resources will support the integrity, security and privacy features of these systems. This CAI position will provide the Salesforce application and data design leadership of the Vaccine and Immunization Network Interface (VINI) development effort in the enterprise Salesforce org. This work will be performed according to the requirements supplied by the program area in the form of user stories. Additionally, the Solution Architect will work closely with the data analytics team to design data feeds to the DHHS Enterprise Business Solution (EBI) to ensure the data flow is captured appropriately to support DHHS EBI where further analysis can occur. This position will provide technical leadership, analytical, design, Salesforce development and testing as well as responsible and accountable for overseeing the overall application design and data model of the solution.

Responsibilities include:

Leads multiple design and development activities and projects adhering to the current SDLC process and common agile practices.
Describe and illustrate designs with appropriate justifications
Responsible for the design of the salesforce solution. Translating business needs into a technical vision that the team of Salesforce developers can execute on
Take a strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
Demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence
Develop the data strategy for the solution including Data modeling, data migration and data sharing.
Assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations and testing
Ensure the solution remains within the agreed scope.
Provide guidance on user stories ensuring success and acceptance criteria are well defined for each user story.
Design, develop, test and document scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platform
Perform Analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation and documentation as well as assists Application Team members in development activities and reviews tasks as required
Create workflows of varying complexity leveraging the Salesforce platform
APEX development, development of VisualForce and Lightning pages and Lightning Web components
Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other State systems, including legacy systems
Code review custom developed code and make necessary technical adjustments and recommendations, ensuring proper test class coverage.
Perform basic platform configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, etc.), creating reports and dashboards, and data management.
Groom and Refine the Salesforce application backlog
Reviews estimates for accuracy and completeness composed by other team members.
Work as directed by DoIT management to meet DoIT coding standards and best practices and should be familiar with test-driven development and "no code, low code, custom" maxim.
Facilitates communication and knowledge sharing within the Application Teams.
Assist with the resolution of production problems.
Must be comfortable taking appropriate steps to protect PHI/PII/PCI.

Preferred experience: Copado.
