General Description:
As the Director of Manufacturing, you are responsible for the efficient manufacture of quality, on-time product across all assigned manufacturing sites. In this position you are responsible for initiating, implementing, completing, and evaluating continuous improvement projects. You will also collaborate with the Maintenance and Facilities Manager as well as the Plant/Production Managers to ensure safe operations.

Education and Experience:
College Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline preferred.
At least 10 years experience in a mid- or large-size flexographic and digital print manufacturer is required.
At least 5 of those years should be in a management position within the company.
Multi-site and/or corporate experience preferred.
Proven record of leading manufacturing teams to meet or exceed company goals.
Lean / Six Sigma experience is preferred with a strong emphasis on waste and make-ready time reduction.
Color management expertise

Self-starter and a team player who will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Outstanding experience in manufacturing ERP systems (Radius is preferred).
Must be proficient with Microsoft office (including Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
Comfortable with data driven management and data tools and analysis.
Expert knowledge of flexographic printing processes is required. Additional digital press experience preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to relate mechanical and technical concepts in non-technical language is required.
Thrives on order and brings closure to issues.
Change agent capable of leading through influence.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Direct supervision of General/Plant Manager(s)
Indirect supervision of production team (press operators, rewinders, press helpers, etc.)
Training Requirements:
Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.
Travel:
Travel for this position will range from 25-50%, depending on business needs.
