2-3 months contract with Enfield Council
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced professional within the field of Community Safety to lead this important area of work in Enfield.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
Leading and supporting the work of Community Safety Partnership
Leading on delivery of all strategies under the umbrella of Community Safety partnership, for example readiness for Violence Reduction Duty, Violence against Women and Girls, Hate Crime Strategy and others
Working effectively with Police, Probation, Fire Service, Health and Council at both operational and strategic level to keep residents of Enfield safe
Maintaining positive relationship and effective collaboration with MOPAC, Home Office and VRU;
Leading on delivery, commissioning and grant funded programmes under the community safety, ensuring Enfield Council upholds terms and conditions of external grants
Supporting and advising elected members and Council departments in their work to proactively delivery effective community safety solutions.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience of effective budget management, grant administration and procurement.
Experience of producing high quality written work to a variety of audience (scrutiny reports, strategies, plans, needs assessments, presentations, funding bids, funding returns) and delivering credible presentations.
Essential Qualifications Required:
A degree or post- graduate qualification in Criminology, or Community Safety or other relevant qualification.

Ability to drive.
