You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Tennessee Rehabilitation Center in Smyrna (TRCS) is seeking a full time LPN to develop and lead student training to enhance public health outreach through education, activities, and connections with community-based resources. This comprehensive public health initiative is needed to address critical health education needs for individuals with disabilities and to foster connections with healthier and more informed community options.
The LPN will design curriculums and conduct a series of interactive trainings that cover vital health topics including but not limited to sex education, drug and alcohol awareness, understanding one's ability to include assistive technology options, nutrition, medication management, fitness, navigating community activities/programs, and stress reduction.
The LPN will network with community resources to provide trainings on campus and in the community. The LPN will develop community partnerships for collaboration on training and services in the public health field.
The LPN will work closely with the TRCS Student Behavioral Instructor and First Aid Center LPN's on curriculums, community resources/partnerships, and health events to ensure these trainings and services can be continued.

*Each shift will be 7.5 hours plus a 1 hour lunch break.
*This position is funded by a grant that will end 9/30/24, and the position will end at that time.
Candidate must be local.
