Job Description :
- A minimum of 9 years of experience as a BSA in a Data Warehouse/ Data Lake setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in all facets of Enterprise Data Warehouse / Lake best practices and protocols, including requirements analysis, ETL/ELT, metadata management, dimensional database design, conformed dimensions, and familiarity with business intelligence tools.
- The capability to create and employ business process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams for the purpose of documenting and clarifying technical processes and procedures.
- Collaboration with both business and technical teams to identify and document existing business rules, processes, and procedures, while concurrently outlining current data flows within the financial operational systems.
- The ability to engage with diverse consumer groups with varying levels of technical insight, assisting them in defining their analytical, managerial, statistical, and tracking report requirements.
- Proficiency in translating business requests into high-level technical design documentation.
- Demonstrating a strong initiative, diligence, and dedication to efficiently completing assignments, often working with minimal supervision, and exhibiting responsible behavior with keen attention to detail.
- Establishing and maintaining Knowledge Repositories for the Data Warehouse / Lake user community, housing models, mapping documents, and training materials.
- A foundational understanding of effective Data Warehouse / Lake solutions in terms of design and functionality.
- Competence in employing standard project management methodologies rooted in agile principles.
- The capacity to compose basic SQL queries and comprehend technical specifications to ensure that proposed solutions align with business requirements.
- A comprehensive grasp of relational database theory and systems.
- 4 years of work experience in database systems is considered an additional asset.
- Strong listening skills, crucial for effective communication with both business and IT teams.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
