Vermont's Northeast Kingdom is an outdoor wonderland, offering a paradise of adventures for you to enjoy!The RN charge nurse/clinical coordinator is responsible for the organization of the unit to help staff provide quality care to the patients. The charge nurse/Clinical Coordinator serves as a clinical resource person and takes a leadership role in managing and coordinating patient care for patients during their hospital stay. Assesses, plans, delegates and evaluates care delivered to the Med/Surg/Pedi patients during the assigned shift by directing and supervising care provided; interprets the standards of care for the unit and performs duties in any nursing capacity as needed.We prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. You will be accountable to the Unit Director and work closely with the Clinical Coordinator and/or Nursing Supervisor during your shift, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.To join our team, we require a minimum of three years' acute care experience, with preference given to candidates with Meditech familiarity. Possessing a current Vermont RN or multi state licensure, BCLS and ALCS certifications are essential, while Med Surg certification is highly desired. Patients on our Med Surg unit are of all ages. Nestled in the heart of Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, NVRH is a cherished 25-bed independent and nonprofit critical access hospital.
