Job Description

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic systems components and troubleshooting techniques. The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the installation maintenance repair and calibration of various electronic equipment and systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail excellent problemsolving skills and a commitment to ensuring the reliability and functionality of electronic systems.

Will be required to be onsite fulltime Spartanburg SC

Will train in Oshkosh WI for first several weeks then work onsite in Spartanburg SC.
Must have US Citizenship
1030% travel.


Responsibilities:

  1. Install maintain and repair electronic equipment and systems including but not limited to: circuit boards control systems sensors amplifiers and communication devices.
  2. Perform diagnostics troubleshooting and faultfinding on electronic systems to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  3. Calibrate electronic instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  4. Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals to understand equipment specifications and assembly instructions.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex electronic problems and improve system performance.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment inventory.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with electronic equipment and hazardous materials.
  8. Stay updated on advancements in electronic technology and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance system functionality.
  9. Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  3. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  5. Effective communication skills both verbal and written.

Top Qualifications:

  1. Several years of experience with electronics and programming of electronics (not writing code just adding programs)
  2. Selfmotivated and independent comfortable with trying to resolve issues on his own but will reach out for help if not making progress.
  3. Good communicator attention to detail keeps track of work and has used Microsoft Office apps.
