Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in coordinating and optimising transport operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure efficient transportation processes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Plan and coordinate transport routes to meet delivery schedules
• Liaise with drivers suppliers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
• Utilise IT systems for route planning and tracking
• Monitor transport costs and maintain accurate records
• Optimise vehicle loads to maximise efficiency
• Address any transport issues or delays promptly
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Who we are looking for:

• Proven experience in Transport Planning
• Proficient in English both written and verbal
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Ability to use software such as Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Valid driving licence for occasional site visits
• Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am 5pm OR 8am6pm (Flexibility required)
