Job Description
JD FOR HR FROM JEWELLEY BACKGROUND :Recruitment and Staffing:
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the jewellery industry.
Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings candidate screenings interviews and onboarding.
Build and maintain relationships with industry networks and educational institutions.
Employee Relations:
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
Organize and implement employee engagement initiatives and events.
Performance Management:
Develop and oversee performance appraisal processes ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
Implement and monitor employee development programs and career progression plans.
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training sessions.
Compliance and Policies:
Ensure compliance with local state and federal labor laws and regulations as well as industryspecific standards.
Develop update and enforce company HR policies and procedures.
Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate compensation.
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other perks.
Conduct regular market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Health and Safety:
Promote and ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary improvements.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decisionmaking and improve HR processes.
Prepare and present reports on HR activities workforce trends and employee satisfaction.
Leadership and Strategy:
Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.
Provide guidance and support to line managers on HRrelated matters.
Lead HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational growth and development.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Specialist/Manager preferably in the jewellery industry.
Strong knowledge of HR practices employment laws and industryspecific standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problemsolving and conflict resolution abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field.
HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP PHR).
Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
Knowledge of gemstone and precious metal industry standards and regulations.
