As the Beam Physics Service Engineer youll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning of the Proton Therapy Centers equipment! Your responsibilities will encompass beam calibration commissioning and troubleshooting activities ensuring that the center operates at peak performance levels. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the installation team to calibrate a wide range of equipment and technical tools with a focus on beamrelated systems. Perform beamrelated equipment calibration according to established procedures ensuring accuracy and precision. Operate the system and analyze data to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues ensuring seamless operation. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Manage all aspects of beamrelated commissioning activities including Pencil Beam Scanning (PBS) and dosimetry tools. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective measures to maintain optimal performance. Ensure the highest quality of service and technical support to meet customer expectations and ensure patient safety. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for equipment collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance.
Musthave Requirements:
Masters degree or PhD in Physics or Engineering. Proficiency in MS Excel MATLAB and Monte Carlo simulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Customeroriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights weekends and travel during the training period.
