Who are we

the female factor is a nonprofit community for the next generation of leaders aiming to get more women into leadership positions. As part of our Leadership:Redefined movement we are hosting our global leaders summit in Vienna and we are looking for volunteers based in Vienna to support!

800 female leaders 30 speakers 80 countries

Tasks

What roles are available

Please read the following descriptions before deciding to apply and let us know your preferences. We will allocate roles based on experience and fit.

speaker manager
As a Speaker Manager youll be the main point of contact for our speakers ensuring they have everything they need before and during the event. This role includes managing schedules providing logistical support and ensuring a smooth flow of presentations.

requires fluency in English and professional demeanour

content & engagement drivers if you love working with people
Youll help drive meaningful conversations manage Q&A sessions handle ticketing requests online provide platform support and respond to attendee emails.

requires fluency in English

social media support for all creatives
Help us share the excitement of the summit with the world! Youll be responsible for livetweeting posting on social media platforms capturing key moments and interacting with our online audience.

requires fluency in English and iPhone 13 (or equivalent) previous experience in social media a plus

hostess & help desk if you love working with people
Welcome our attendees with a smile and assist with the checkin process. Youll also manage the help desk providing information and support to ensure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable experience.

requires fluency in English and professional demeanour

logistics support if you want to leverage your strengths
If youre handson and enjoy working behind the scenes this role is for you! Youll assist with setting up and breaking down the event space moving equipment and ensuring everything runs smoothly from a logistical standpoint.

requires physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects

driver if you wanna chat with our VIPs
Help transport speakers VIP guests and materials to and from the event venue. This role is crucial for ensuring that our event runs on time and that our guests are well taken care of.

requires valid drivers licence (B)

Requirements

To join our team as a volunteer you should be professional fluent in English and available on the day of the event as well as on certain days before and after for meetings and other activities (dates to be announced). Specific requirements for each role are outlined in the task descriptions.

Benefits

While we are unable to offer financial compensation for your support youll receive a summit ticket valued at 450. Well ensure your volunteer schedule allows you ample time to enjoy the summit balancing your responsibilities with the opportunity to participate fully.

In exchange for your support we promise:

  • summit pass to the conference incl access to the afterparty
  • practical experience: organization of an event with 800 attendees
  • recommendation: get a reference from us for your CV/Linkedin
  • refreshments: food and drinks during the event ofc
