General Farm Worker
We are working with a progressive, family ran dairy farm in the picturesque countryside of Shropshire. Our client manages a thriving herd of 340 cows and are committed to high standards of animal welfare and sustainable farming practices. We are looking for a passionate and skilled General Farm Worker to join their team and contribute to their success.
The Job
-Tractor and Field Work: Operate and maintain farm machinery for various field tasks and general farm upkeep.
-Maintenance: Ensure all farm equipment and facilities are kept in top condition through regular maintenance and repairs.
-Feeding: Assist in feeding the herd, ensuring all dietary requirement are met.
-Milking: Participate in daily milking routines, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and care.
The Candidate
-Previous experience in a mixed farming environment.
-Proficiency in operating tractors and other farm machinery.
-Basic maintenance and mechanical skills.
-Knowledge of dairy farming practices, including feeding and milking.
-Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
The Package
-Salary 14- 15 per hour but negotiable for the right candidate.
