We pride ourselves on delivering highquality personalized services and are looking to expand our team with a motivated and skilled Qualified Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Portfolio Management: Handle a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs corporations and individuals ensuring all accounting and tax requirements are met.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Tax Compliance: Manage and prepare VAT returns corporation tax returns and personal tax returns ensuring timely submission and adherence to tax regulations.
- Audit Support: Assist with audit preparation liaising with auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
- Bookkeeping: Oversee and manage bookkeeping tasks including maintaining accurate records and preparing monthly management accounts.
- Advisory Services: Provide clients with advice on financial and business matters including budgeting forecasting and financial planning.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships acting as the primary point of contact for all accounting matters.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to team development and training.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years working in an accounting practice with a strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks Sage) Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of UK GAAP IFRS and tax compliance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to nonfinancial clients.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
