Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of systems engineering excellent problemsolving abilities and the capacity to lead complex projects. This role involves designing implementing and maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and manage IT infrastructure including servers storage and networking components.
• Ensure the reliability performance and security of all systems and applications.
• Develop and implement system automation and orchestration solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Lead and participate in IT projects including system upgrades and migrations.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (MCSE RHCE AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
