About the Company

Our client was founded in 2016 to serve the growing demands of logistics to internal and external customer in AsiaPacific region. Every customer and his individual situation is at the center of our offered solution.

They are looking for a Logistics Customer Service/ Operations staff to join their team in Malaysia which is supporting the AsiaPacific region. As a part of a multicultural team you achieve exceptional service in cooperation with global forwarders and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring day today shipments for appointed international customers act as single point of contact and handle all mode of transports.

Responsibilities

  • To book shipments in various modes of transports primarily sea and air
  • Monitoring of shipments and maintaining status and visibility of shipments
  • Correct and timely handling and review of all transport relevant documents
  • Serve as first point of contact for our customers
  • Liaise with our appointed service partners
  • Attend to and solve incident and complain issues timely and efficiently
  • Fast replies to enquiries and requests
  • Be a role model for entire CS/Operations team and valued team member
  • Support reviews of standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Cooperate with other departments locally and within the Wurth network.
  • To support on any other related tasks assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional experience in international transport logistics
  • Proven track record of handling and organizing shipments in one or more of the following mode of transports: Sea Air Truck Rail or/and Express
  • Solid understanding of shipping terms documentation and terminology
  • SPM/Diploma in Transport/Logistics or Business Administration International Business
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English further languages like Mandarin very welcome
  • Wellorganized with ITbased daytoday operations
  • Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office SAP experience is a plus
  • Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver

RM 3000 to RM 5000
