Job Description
Job Title: Certified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
Location: Lemont Illinois
Hours: FullTime Hours
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with early childhood students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing tailored support to young learners with diverse needs. We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to create a positive inclusive learning environment for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
Job Overview:
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with other service providers.
- Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet IEP goals.
- Create a structured safe and nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and independence.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for early childhood students with special needs.
- Provide instruction in both individual and group settings to meet the developmental needs of children ages 35.
- Collaborate with families paraprofessionals therapists and other educators to support each child s goals and progress.
Requirements
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid state teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
Knowledge of early childhood development and behavior management strategies.
Experience working with children with disabilities in a preschool setting is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and team members.
