Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HRrelated duties on a professional level and works closely with management in supporting designated HR functions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment employee relations performance management policy implementation and employment law compliance.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Human Resources Manager
Job Functions:
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the implementation and communication of personnel policies and procedures.
- Maintains Workmans Comp FMLA and unemployment matters.
- Participates in developing department goals objectives and systems.
- Monitors and tracks bonuses and other rewards for all employee types. Process requests and maintain records.
- Files EEO1 report annually; maintains other records reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Conducts full cycle recruitment efforts for all employment types; ensures clearance and compliance; documents red flags; maintains pipeline.
- Actively monitors 3rd party/vendor opportunities. Scrape log and share opportunities to Recruiters on a consistent basis.
- Conducts newemployee orientations and employment verifications (I9 background checks drug screens etc.).
- Monitors and maintains employee files to ensure compliance with the Company policies; track and communicate expiration dates and other compliance matters related to HR and Recruiting.
- Handles employee surveys and exit interviews.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings.
- Research and participate in seminars and continuing education activities pertaining to position every six (6) months.
- Recommends new approaches policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintains human resource information system records; compiles reports pulls adhoc reports as needed.
- HRIS administrator; provides guidance to employees initiate and track employee relation transactions; maintain data and records in system.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Training and Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree or five years human resource experience.
- Human Resource certification (HRCI/ SHRM) preferred.
