Job Description
Job Title: Mainframe Consultant/ Adabas Natural Programmer
Location: Maplewood NJ
Duration: Contract
Interview: Webex
Computer Environment:
- SYSTEMS: OS/390 Z/OS MVS/ESA Windows Emulator (EXTRA) and Windows 7Vista/XP.
- SOFTWARE: NATURAL 4.25 (4GL language) Discoverer JCL FTP and Entire Connection
- DATABASE: ADABAS 8.14 and ORACLE 11g
Requirements Description:
- Provide support to VMIS administrators and field users in Bus Operations with daily issues including:
- Scheduled Bus Inspection
- Work Orders
- Automated Fluid downloads.
- Incidents uploads
- Defect uploads
- System/Subsystems setup for new bus fleets
- Systems Table setup
- Security
- Design and develop new data interfaces for flat file data feeds.
- Maintain the existing VMIS data mart on the network.
- Gain understanding of existing VMIS system and technical environment.
- Document functionality of new development/enhancements.
- Produce adhoc reporting as per user request.
- Provide 24X7 on call production support.
Skill Level:
- ADABAS/Natural Required 10 years
- Oracle Required 5 years
- TSO Required 10 years
