What you will be doing:

• Participate in a 1214 months comprehensive warehouse operations program across different departments in MSI.
• Learn responsibilities in Inbound Picking Packing Outbound Transportation and supporting departments.
• Lead process improvement projects and collaborate with department supervisors and managers.
• Ensure all functions are properly staffed to manage varied work volume during the rotation program.
• Maintain and manage safety and quality standards and processes.
• Work closely with Leads and Team Members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Manage daily weekly and monthly safety quality and productivity reporting.
• Supervise realignment activities for maximum facility optimization.
• Provide leadership training and supervision to approximately 20 team members when applicable.
• Continuously develop leadership capabilities and promote professional growth of the team.
• Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and supplies when applicable.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct research root cause analysis communicate findings and recommend solutions to improve warehouse inventory health.
• Manage operational activities to support distribution center layout and continuous improvement goals.

Experience you will need:

• Bachelors Degree with emphasis on Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred.
• High School Education or equivalent required.
• 2 years of specific relevant work experience in a leadership role.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience required.
• Supervised at least 10 team members highly desired.
• 2 years of Distribution Center Operations/Project management experience required.
• Lean Manufacturing principles knowledge would be a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Related industry experience in natural stone tile or hard flooring industries preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Distribution and Warehouse Management applications and project management.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Goaloriented with a proven record of selfmotivation and achievement.
