Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineer will:

• Perform site visits to document existing conditions.
• Create technical drawings of Electrical/Fire Alarm designs.
• Perform electrical calculations and analysis.
• Generate site lighting photometric and electrical plans.
• Adhere to Kilian Engineering drafting standards for consistent documents.
• Communicate with client and vendors.
• Review vendor submittals.
• Assist and/or mentor Project Design Managers and CAD Drafters.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering.
• 5 or more years experience in engineering consulting firm.
• Licensed as PE
• Electrical power and lighting systems design experience
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of building codes and National Electrical Code.
• Computer skills including AutoCad Revit MS Word Excel
