Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Talent Development, the incumbent will undertake the following:
- Implement and monitor the Performance Management framework to enable employees to understand the goals of the Abyat through managing the performance cycle and ensure cross-complex alignment and intra-complex cascading of business goals and key performance indicators across the organization;
- Work liaison with key stakeholders to establish and support the link between strategic business objectives and employee’s day-to-day actions and tasks;
- Implement a process for tracking progression from goal setting, mid-year reviews, and end-of-year evaluations to support individual, team, and organizational performance;
- Manage and coordinate organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management and performance improvement programs are developed and managed using a data-driven approach;
- Communicate the strategic vision, scope, priorities, processes, systems, and tools of the performance management unit;
- Address performance gaps related to capacity/ knowledge gaps among staff and overall talent sourcing, management, and succession programs;
- Work with HRIS and Corporate IT Services to ensure the development, enhancement, or acquisition of the Information Technology tools needed to support the performance management activities;
- Drive organization-wide processes for sharing best practices, tools/materials, and ongoing communication activities for performance improvement;
- In liaison with the HRBP's, support the development and implementation of monitoring systems for complex or departmental performance indicators and standards;
- Oversee the implementation of key performance measures, core competencies, and core values into the performance appraisal system;
- Design capacity development interventions and coordinate the implementation of learning programs and coaching activities to address areas of development (in liaison with Leadership and Development Officer); to enhance the people management/performance management practice across the Abyat.
Skills and Experience
Essentials:
- 5-7 years experience as a Human Resources professional;
- Ability to effectively consult and support multiple managers within the business;
- Excellent process management, planning, and organizational skills;
- Fluent in English.
Desirable:
- University Degree in Human Resources;
- CIPD or iHRp qualification;
- Experience in Performance Appraisal Systems.
