As an Accountant with a focus on jewellery wholesale and retail youll play a vital role in maintaining our financial health and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Ledger Tallying: Maintain accurate ledger accounts for jewellery inventory sales and expenses. Reconcile inventory records with sales transactions and financial reports. Ensure precise valuation and tracking of jewellery stock. Invoicing: Generate timely and accurate invoices for wholesale and retail jewellery transactions. Verify pricing discounts and terms for jewellery sales. Manage accounts receivable and collections efficiently. GST Filing: Prepare and file GST returns tailored to the jewellery industry. Stay updated on GST regulations and compliance requirements. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate GST reporting. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements reports and analysis specific to the jewellery business. Provide insights into sales trends product performance and profitability. Collaborate with management to enhance financial performance and inventory management. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industryspecific regulations and accounting standards. Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory compliance. Implement internal controls to prevent fraud in jewellery transactions. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or related field. Previous Experience In Jewellery Wholesale Or Retail Accounting Preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles especially in inventory management and sales. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with GST laws applicable to the jewellery sector. Location: Currently Zaveri Bazaar soon shifting to Turbhe Navi Mumbai. Salary upto 35k
Position Overview Vendor Spoc is a key position in merchandising department. The person would be responsible for coordinating with internal departments, store and Vendors. The candidate should have fair knowledge of Gold Jewellery and should be good with computer operation and excel. Role and Responsibilities Receiving and maintaining stock from various departments and Store. Coordinating with vendors for returning the products. Generate sales invoice or purchase return to vendors. Maintaining stock count and tally as per department reports. Critical Competencies Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Action oriented and highly motivated. Proficient in software and Excel. Should be good at mathematical calculations. Should be a people s person and have an engaging conversation style should be a great listener. Qualifications and Education Requirements Graduate from any field. Minimum of 2 year of experience jewellery industry. Preferred skills and experience: Computer Operation. Good communication and strong negotiation skills.
