The Jar app is a habitbuilding microsavings platform that helps users save fixed amounts from as little as 10 in 24K digital gold. Our users also have the option to convert these savings to cash or physical gold at their convenience.
Jar also effortlessly facilitates investments by enabling users to save while they spend utilising our roundoff method like a digital piggy bank.
Founded by Misbah Ashraf former founder of communityfocused ecommerce platform Marsplay and Nishchay AG former director and founding member at mobility startup Bounce Jars unwavering mission is to shatter psychological barriers to saving and investing thus spearheading the Financial Fitness revolution for Bharat.

Nek is an affordable luxury jewellery brand that is powered by Jar. It is the culmination of what we know best; affordability the value of gold and crafting incredible connections. Neks wide collection of silver and gold jewellery is made with meticulous artisanship to celebrate you and find the magic in every occasion.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
- Design develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
- Identify record document and track bugs using respective tools.
- Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Track quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defects.
- Be familiar with testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Fair amount of knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Ability to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Some internship experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Should have basic knowledge of postman and Rest APIs.
- Fluent in Java.
- Pursuing an engineering degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related subject.
