Eagle Staffing Company is delighted to offer an excellent opportunity on behalf of our client in Northeast Philadelphia. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. This position offers a competitive wage of $22$23 per hour reflecting the vital role youll play in our healthcare team.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Note: While many days conclude around 1 PM all candidates must be prepared to work until 5 PM as needed.

Duration:

• October 7 2024 April/May 2025
• Please note there will be dates with no testing scheduled around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant in our team your daytoday responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Taking patient blood pressure measurements
• Performing EKGs
• Drawing blood for various tests
• Conducting vision tests (onsite training provided)
• Performing Xrays (onsite training provided)
• Managing patient paperwork efficiently
• Providing excellent patient care and support

Our facility averages around 20 patients on a busy day and 810 patients on slower days. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing these numbers efficiently and providing each patient with the care and attention they deserve.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred but motivated individuals with the right aptitude will be considered and trained onsite for specific tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Capability to perform blood pressure measures EKGs and blood draws confidently or willingness to learn quickly through training.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient loads and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records and information.
• A genuine passion for patient care and a team player attitude.
